The Sefer Torah Project: L’Dor Vador, invites every individual and family to join our scribe in writing our 150th Anniversary Torah over the coming year. Hand-on-hand with the soferet, together we will complete this Torah that we will read from, study and celebrate and share with the generations to come.

    Single Letter

    Share the experience of scribing a single letter. Together with our soferet, scribe a letter while your family looks on and shares in this moving experience.

    Word

    Share the scribing of an entire word in our Torah with your immediate family. Together with our soferet each member of your immediate family will scribe the letters in a word selected with our soferet Linda Coppleson at your scribing ceremony.

    As Linda Coppleson scribes our Torah she leaves many names uncompleted, awaiting to finish the scribing of relevant and meaningful names with you. Reserve the name that holds importance to your family. Your family will share in completing the scribing of this name.

    The Torah is filled with iconic passages, events and verses. Our soferet has not yet scribed many of these sections as she awaits the opportunity to complete them with your family. Each member of your immediate family will scribe a letter, completing words within your reserved section.

    Parasha

    Every week we read a new Parasha in the Torah. Each bnei mitzvah often clings to the passage they read at their ceremony, or perhaps there is a certain chapter within the Torah that has special meaning to you. The first sentences of each Parasha are available to scribe with your extended family.
